Nostalgia and humour dominated the trailer launch of ‘Race 3’

‘Race 3’ boasts of an ensemble cast but is spearheaded by Salman Khan. At the film’s trailer launch this evening at a suburban multiplex, the actors and director Remo D’Souza reminisced how they all have been associated with the franchise in the past. Salman revealed, “Daisy Shah, who is one of the leading ladies of ‘Race 3’ was an assistant choreographer in the first film of the franchise. She has clearly come a long way.”

Remo D’Souza piped in, and added, “I was a background dancer in Salman Khan’s film ‘Auzaar’ which was Ramesh Taurani’s second production.” Actor Bobby Deol, who made a comeback with ‘Poster Boys’ last year, will be seen in a pivotal role in ‘Race 3’. He said, “I have worked with Remo when he was an assistant choreographer, and today I am working in a film which he has directed.” Saqib Saleem added, “I watched the first film in the franchise when I was in college and today to be sharing screen space with Salman Khan and the other cast members is massive for me.”

There were also some tongue-in-cheek answers by Salman. When Anil Kapoorwas asked, ‘Kaunsa fruit is film main aap kha rahe hain?’ Salman was quick to reply, “Success” which left the scribes in splits.
