Ankita Lokhande draws inspiration from Kangana Ranaut

Ankita Lokhande is gearing up to make a noteworthy comeback to acting. Once a well-recalled face on television, she's making her Bollywood debut in Kangana Ranaut's 'Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi'.

The actress plays Jhalkaribai, one of the most prominent soldiers in Rani Laxmibai's army, who rose to the level of a key advisor on the warrior queen's side. Given her role, she has shot extensively with Kangana, who plays the central character. Ankita says, "It has been a beautiful experience shooting with Kangana. She is an excellent artiste and a fabulous person." Given that the firsts in all our lives are often special learning experiences, when asked what her takeaway from the shoot is, Ankita says, "I watch Kangana working towards anything and everything with the same amount of dedication. In her own way, she's inspiring for women everywhere."
