Diwali may be over, but celebrations are still on for team 'Golmaal Again'. And why not? The multi-starrer entertainer, helmed by Rohit Shetty, has emerged as Bollywood's highest opener of the year so far. The film, starring Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Parineeti Chopra, Tusshar, Arshad Warsi, Kunal Kemmu and Shreyas Talpade, has finally spread some cheer in the industry, which hasn't had a good run at the box office in 2017. The only other Indian film to rake in higher numbers this year was 'Bahubali 2: The Conclusion', which was released in four languages — Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam.

'Golmaal Again' is witnessing heavy footfall not only in single screens, but also in multiplexes across India. A crew member, who accompanied Rohit to check out the audience's response in cinemas, enthuses, "The crowds are ecstatic. It's been quite a while since movie buffs have seen such a total entertainer."
Interestingly, the fourth instalment of the action-comedy franchise has registered good numbers in the overseas territories as well. On the second day alone, it saw a jump of about 70 per cent.
