After playing a man suffering from Asperger syndrome in the yet-to-be-released My Name Is Khan, Shahrukh Khan is set to transform into a superhero for his next film Ra-1, to be directed by Anubhav Sinha. Initially, the film was set to be shot in Mumbai, but a few changes have been made in the script and the location changed. The slick action flick will now be shot in Miami beginning early January 2010. It’s learnt that the film’s unit will leave for Miami in late December while SRK will join them in Jan. It may come as a surprise that SRK chose to shoot the film in the US after his bitter experience at a US airport earlier this year when he was detained for questioning. Reports say SRK’s good friend Karan Johar was instrumental in helping SRK decide to shoot Ra-1 in Miami because his Dostana shoot in the city went without a hitch. K-Jo is even learnt to have arranged meetings between Ra-1’s production team and officials in Miami . The shooting in Miami is expected to last two months after which the unit will return to Mumbai for a month long shoot.

Now tell me how many actresses would do something like this. On the sets of director Prakash Jha’s film Rajneeti in Bhopal recently, Katrina Kaif found herself in a tight spot. She wasn’t able to memorize her lengthy dialogues in Hindi for a scene and she feared that her shoot for the day had to be postponed. She needed at least a day to memorize all those dialogues. Unwilling to make the director bear the loss, the actress made a unique offer to Jha. She offered to pay back Rs. 15 lakh out of her pocket to him for the loss of work. Jha admits that he was “touched” by Katrina’s professional gesture. However, he did not accept the wads of cash that Katrina offered and gave her an extra day to learn the dialogues. The next day, Katrina did not let him down. From the moment she arrived on the sets she was ready to face the camera and deliver her dialogues in Hindi. In the movie, Katrina is acting with very talented actors like Nana Patekar, Ajay Devgan, Manoj Bajpai, Ranbir Kapoor and rjun Rampal.

He successfully played a con man in his two hit movies, Bluffmaster and Bunty Aur Babli and lured the audience with his deceiving acts. Now, Abhishek Bachchan is once again ready to play a swindler in a film named, ‘Special Chabbis’. The film is based on the famous burglary of 1987 at the Tribhovandas Bhimji Zaveri Jewellery store in Mumbai. Junior Bachchan will play the master mind behind the heist, Mohan Singh, who got 26 men as income tax officers to raid the jewellery shop in a plush area of Mumbai during daylight and shocked the city. Abhishek seems to be quite a pro in playing the cheating game. Now lets wait and see who are going to play the other 26 characters.

Deepika Padukone may have apparently split from Ranbir Kapoor, but to overcome the break-up blues the beautiful actess is learnt to be sinking herself into work so that the matters of heart no longer trouble her. She recently signed a film with director Ashutosh Gowariker. And now, she’s given her consent to a movie with none other than Imran Khan, Ranbir’s best buddy. Deepika and Imran will pair up for a yet-untitled film to be produced by Kunal Kohli, whose last directorial effort Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic was a spectacular disaster at the box office. The new movie, a full-on love story, will mark the directorial debut of Kunal’s assistant Danish Aslam. Shooting is expected to begin early next year.
