Bollywood is her passion, analyzing is her profession. Ritu Mahindru is ShowBiz India’s Movie Review critic. For over 5 years she has been appeasing spectators with her candid reviews. A viewer’s critic, she’s bold in speaking her mind.
Since her childhood, it has been Indian movies, dancing, music, tradition, and culture that have surrounded her and been a strong influence. Writing comes to her naturally. Through Junior High and High School she had been a journalist and then promoted to Assistant Editor for the school newspaper. Her zeal for writing, fervor for Indian movies, and analytical train of thought, combined the best of all worlds as the movie review host. In addition to hosting the movie review segment, she does correspondent work, covering community events and conducting interviews.

       Previously, Ritu has been a contestant in the Ms. Southern California India beauty pageant, organized by Pearl Entertainment, the parent corp. of Showbiz India TV. She boasts of it as an experience that contributed to her personal growth, uncovering a confidence with in that encouraged her to be forthright in taking initiative.

      An active member of the South Asian community, she re-found and lead the South Asian Club at CSUN, was part of the university Bhangra team, worked on social/cultural events, and following competing assisted in the coordination of the Ms. Southern California beauty pageant.
More recently she has been the Public Relations Director for Network of Indian Professionals LA-OC chapter and is the Chair for South Asian Arts Film Association (SAAFA) in Los Angeles. A strong communicator she is the emcee at numerous social and charitable events.

     Besides all her extracurricular activities, Ritu Mahindru, a Business graduate from California State University – Northridge, holds a position in Strategic Sales & Marketing for Nestle USA.
